The Fine Welded Mono with PU sides & back custom toupees for men offer breathable bases with easy glue/taping on the PU sides/back. These toupees are popular because of the breathable and durable base. As a thin base, the hairline is fairly invisible, but not as invisible as French or Swiss lace. You may use tape or glue at the front of these toupees.

The Fine Welded Mono base is popular because it’s breathable and durable. Lace bases are less durable. PU sides & back enables easier glueing and taping with a stable hold and faster cleanup. The front hairline on this toupee is not as invisible as swiss and French lace, but it is more invisible than units with PU around.
The idea for density should be that the older you are the lower the density to make it age appropriate. People under 40 may be best choosing medium to medium heavy. If you areover 40 you could go with medium light or less. If you are over 50, it might be best for you to go with extra light or light. A light density men’s toupee does still have full coverage.
Some people just go to a regular stylist which may save you a lot of money. You can explain to the stylist (in confidence) that you are wearing a toupee so take the length down slowly. You could also go to a hair replacement systems stylist. We have a large list of these stylists in many cities of the U.S. and abroad, so call us to inquire.
